![]() The one feature that makes me want to keep looking for alternatives is a full and proper web sync. The one that puts this app above the rest is the infinite sub-tasks. I had the widget on my home screen for the longest time while I was busy at work, it was just what I needed to see. There’s a few features I really like about the app, there’s the widget, the Projects and infinite sub-tasks feature and the missed call task entry are all favorites of mine. DGT GTD hides the check list items under the main ToDo What do I like most about the App? After all this organisation I was sometimes still too busy to add items, but at least I never forgot to do the things on my list. I had each item categorized with or contexts. Each of these projects had things I needed to do, and some of these had sub tasks. I had four or more projects on the go as well as my domestic lists. ![]() DGT GTD view of all the tasksĭuring my peek workload in my old job I used this app a whole lot. The purpose of online syncing is so that you can do most of the hard work (putting the tasks in) on the computer and have the device you carry everywhere remind you when things need to get done. The issue is that has no way to record sub-tasks and so everything is pretty much flat, and doesn’t have notebooks either. The notebooks aren’t saved and the task hierarchy isn’t either. There is only one draw back with the app that I can see, it’s that when it syncs to it doesn’t save all the details. In order to use Tasker or Pure Widget you have to pay a small price for the add-on. This isn’t normally a problem, in fact I kind of like that idea, it means that the app is extendable. To synchronize with toodledo or drop-box or ftp or to use Tasker or Pure Widget you need to download add-ons. There’s a notebook portion of the app that you can use to store general notes, and you can also add notes to tasks and checklists so that you can store general information about that task for later. Believe me, the times I’ve set aside to organize myself is often well worth it. The reason why I love it so much is that when you find yourself REALLY busy you can organize your projects down to the nth degree if you can find the time. I really love the infinite sub task and project feature. You can organize your tasks so many ways it’s mind boggling. Well, for the most part it is really good at what it does, and I’ve found some features really handy like the automatic missed phone call tasks. For the really advanced there’s Tasker integration too if you want it, which is something I haven’t tried since I don’t have Tasker.ĭoes the App REALLY do what it claims to do? GDT GTD Goals There’s different color sets, projects and contexts too if you want to get really organised. Some of the more impressive features is folders, tags, infinate sub-tasks, missed call tasks, synchronizing to or dropbox or ftp. ![]() Apparently there’s a beta version that’s going to be available which will have even more features. The author claims an impressive list of 13 features and 14 languages. Straight from the play store “ DGT GTD is a FREE! app designed for managing tasks, todos, checklists, shopping lists and commitments that you need or want to get done“. What does the App claim it can do? DGT GTD Folders view I was looking at all the more popular ones when a friend suggested this one. I didn’t run into this app like I have for most of mine. To be truthful this app doesn’t have everything either, but it’s close, in fact, it’s one of two apps that in my opinion are the pick of the bunch. After Astrid was bought out by Yahoo and shutdown (THANKS… not) I was lost, I mean sure there’s plenty of really good, free to-do apps, like Wonderlist and Any.Do but of course, in true FisherP fashion, there was that one elusive feature or two that I wanted that none of them have. DGT GTD is an attempt at making life organised for the busy individual.
